Just before coming to Amber, chef Andrew Sikkelerus was part of the culinary team at the Chicago Symphony Center’s private dining facility, The Club.

Chef Andrew graduated with an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Kendall College in 2003. Andrew worked at multiple prestigious fine dining restaurants such as Bistro 110, MK North, The Pump Room, Park Grill and most recently Rhapsody and “The Club” located at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra where he honed his skills in the kitchen. He likes tattoos, fire and knives which is why he made his decision to work in the kitchen and loves cooking local, seasonal product when creating dishes.

He looks forward to working with the Gemstone Café Group team, cooking at Amber Café, interacting with guests and providing them with the best possible dining experience.
